Carrying a Purse Can Save You Money

I was taught, when a little girl, the value of a purse and how to make it a fashion. How does buying a purse save you? Never buy a bag or piggy bank for more then you can save up, is the first rule. Then outfit this bag with the must haves, small amount of makeup and Kleenex, small plastic bag for unforeseen things, an organized wallet, small pill container for a surprising headache or other pain, and writing paper for info numbers collecting, with a pen would help. I have my cell phone, ear mic, eye glasses, safety pins, and measuring tape. Sometimes I have room for a bottle of water.

When shopping for sales, you need to be ready with glasses, measuring tape, and some times a bag, a lot of places do not give bags with purchase. Oh, all women need a place to hide and carry our tampons and pads, a small perfume or BO stick. Each of us are different, lol. I have small travel size hair jell and a brush, breath mints, and a nail clipper. So when we are out and some things arises, we are ready. We do not run to the nearest drug store and spend too much for a last minute need.

People think I'm weird because my purse is about the size of an overnight bag... really! And that's what it ended up doubling as when I made a quick trip to Indiana for a family reunion. And like you, I have everything I can think of for small emergencies. Last but not least, it's big enough that I can stow my long white folding cane sometimes. The one thing I learned not to do was carry a water bottle inside - that's how I killed one of my fave electronics. My water bottle leaked. Grr!
