- 1 egg
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 350F.Beat egg slightly in a bowl. Add sugar and vanilla. Mix in flour, salt, soda and nuts. Spread into a greased 8 X 8 baking dish.
Bake for about 20 minutes. Cut into squares.

How much will AP (All-Purpose) flour affect the taste/texture if I use it instead of whole wheat flour?

If you were to use AP (all-Purpose flour) you should use 3/4 cup.
They will be very good also.
