Wooden Reindeer With a Red Nose Light |
|
|
I am painting a wooden deer and I saw one that had a red nose with a light behind it but I am not sure what the nose is made out of. The nose is like a red shiny type of plastic. Does anyone know what I am talking about. Thank you!

are you sure it wasn't just a red bulb? you can get party lights and other such colored bulbs at wal-mart. look for outdoor lights if this is an outdoor decoration.

We make reindeer on a post We drill a hole in the face of the deer and place a light through the hole. We buy a plastic Christmas Candle (electric) that is usually available at the Dollar Store during the holiday season. Break the plastic candle off the bulb part, carefully. Replace the clear bulb with a red one (or spray it with red spray paint) Insert through the hole. Hope this helps. Harlean from Arkansas

I don't know how big your reindeer is but I would use a pingpong ball spray painted red. Just cut a small hole and insert a christmas light
