For storage containers for the dry bulk items - use those tall tin cans that popcorn comes in every Christmas. Not only are people willing to give them to you, just to get rid of them, the local Salvation Army usually sells them for about 25 cents each. Sometimes the lids are a little tight and hard to open - I fux this by putting a little vaseline around the rim - makes a seal to keep bugs out, and makes it easier to open
