Arrangements Using Cattails |
We have a large pond on our property and we are being overrun with cattails. My daughter and her friend would like to make arrangements using these cattails. I have read all the suggestions as to how to preserve them, but does anyone have any advice as to what type of arrangement to make using them?

When I was a floral designer we used cattails in a lot of our fall arrangements, with rust and butterscotch mums, wheat, etc. A really big casual vase with just cattails in it would be cool. You could use them in Christmas arrangements with pinecones. You could even spray paint them gold or any other color. Since they're free, let your immagination go wild!
