Black Soot On The Outside Of An Oven |

My friend was cleaning her oven and the outside of the stove now has black soot/smoke marks on the outside. How can she get this off, she said she's tried a few things, but needs help.

Try some sudsy ammonia mixed with water, the ammonia will cut the grease in the soot and it should remove just fine.
