I nominate that they be named after Alan TURING, Tim
 BERNERS-LEE, Isaac NEWTON (1643-1727) who were/are respectively founder of computer science, godfather of the Web and that great mathematical scientist who probably doesn't need much of an introduction from me.

 Bar the third-named, all have associations with the United
 States in one form or another and they were/are all
 Englishmen.
