I am in the middle of designing props for my stage production however, I am stuck as I need to create a bed from scratch. If anyone knows anything, what materials I should use and why, as well as a step by step guide on how to do it, I would be very grateful.

Thanks

Hello there. There is so many pages offering you CDs and DVDs to purchase but here is one address for "builders" http://www.essortment.com/hobbies/childrensfurni_szqy.htm
Here is one plan for building a bunk bed. Just thought someone might be interested. I'm just thinking of building one myself. Good luck to everyone :-)

We are looking at building beds for our two boys and have no idea how to go about this. They do not share a room so there really is no need for bunk beds but they do need something that will last and grow with them for a few more years. Could you please send me the blueprints? My e-mail address is bpodewils AT tlcexpressllc.com. Thank you.

If you can read a blueprint I can send you a drawing that will show you all of the materials you need and how to put it together. I drew this one up when I made my kid's beds. Just post an E-mail address to send it to.
