Recipe: Easy Swedish Meatballs
Here is an inexpensive and fast way to make Swedish meatballs.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. hamburger
- Crushed crackers
- 1-2 eggs
- Garlic powder
- Cream of mushroom soup
Directions:
Mix hamburger, crackers, eggs and garlic powder well and roll in to
meatballs. Bake in a 350 degree F oven for about 30-45 minutes, until nearly done. Drain fat.
For gravy, put the soup in a bowl and blend with 1/2 can of milk per can of soup. Pour over meatballs and bake another 15 minutes or so until soup is hot.
May serve with mashed potatoes topped with more of the cream of mushroom soup gravy.

I love Swedish meatballs, another dish to use with ground beef! Add some dill to the meatball for a Scandinavian twist. (05/20/2008)

I made this when I was a teenager and it never failed. Instead of beef, use pork or turkey or what ever ground meat you choose. I promise you will not fail with this recipe.
