Caution When Using Bird Netting On Grapes

Be very careful. A friend did that and killed 3 snakes the first night, good snakes! I just got my grapes started last year but would rather share with the birds. I think the cats will like that.

I haven't met a good snake yet on our farm, lol. All the snakes I have encountered to date have been found in the hen house eating either the eggs or baby chicks. But, you gave me an idea, wondering if I put the netting around the nursery chick pen and coop would prevent the snakes from getting to them; so far they don't bother my grapes, it's my chickens that get my grapes!
