6 medium potatoes (boiled in skins; peel and grate boiled potatoes)
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
2 cups sour cream
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup green top onions
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Put in an 8x8 inch greased baking dish. Heat margarine and cream of mushroom soup. Add potatoes, sour cream, cheese, salt and pepper. Top with green onions and bake. Can be frozen ahead. Wrap and freeze. Do not put on onions before freezing.
