Anybody got any romantic picnic menu ideas with these stipulations: Must be cold food only (staying in a hotel). Must be dairy-free, gluten-free and egg-free.

Thanks!

Three bean salad or any marinated vegetable salad. cole slaw with a vinegrette based dressing. Any cold fruits. A good resource might be to look at vegan or vegetarian websites for recipes and suggestions.

Romantic? How about this - oysters as an appetizer, then cold lobster on a bed of rice (no butter, of course), green salad with homemade dressing and cold mixed vegetables on the side, fresh fruit for dessert, all served with white wine. Bring along home-made allergen-free biscuits or crackers and chocolate treats. I'd also be tempted to stew some fresh, cooked fruit in brandy for several days in advance to go with the chocolate treats.
