Reactive Attachment Disorder Advice

Does anyone here know anything about (R.A.D) Reactive Attachment Disorder and how to handle it in an 18 month old toddler? Thanks for any help.

Hi, There are several good yahoo groups for parents with RAD parents. I am on several. We have 2 adopted children. Loretta

look at the love and logic stuff on RAD. It is at www.loveandlogic.com. There is a 3 cd set called Healing Trust by Nancy Thomas, a book Can This Child be Saved? by Foster Cline, and especially, When Love is not Enough by Nancy Thomas. I highly recommend this one. You can probably get any of these through your local library interlibrary loan. Love and Logic is good -- very understandable and actually quite fun when you get to it! Good luck and many prayers.
