Brilliant Candy Cookies |

I love having these in the fridge just waiting for Christmas company.
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 t vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 1/2 cup flour
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup green candied or well drained marachino cherries
- 1 cup red candied or well drained marachino cherries
Directions
Cream butter, sugar, egg and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Fold in nuts and cherries. Make 4 rolls of dough, wrap in plastic wrap and chill several hours or overnight. Slice in 1/2 inch slices and bake at 350 degrees F for 12-14 minutes.
