Does anyone know how to convert old fashioned screwback and clip earrings to pierced?

There used to be some converter posts, that I have seen off and on, from Publisher's clearing house site, and a catalog that I get at home. You have to bend the stems of the earrings down, and insert into the converter posts.
You can find them at least to look at, by searching for 'earring converters'.
