I would not use this tip.My husband bought new glasses; purchased a packaged item used for cleaning glasses from a big box store. He then used that item that was suggested to him by the consultant and put several circular scratches on his new glasses. This is and was a paper [wood ] product. Please don't use the dryer sheets; I'm certain that they can't be safe for all eyeglasses.
This is not a good idea, it smears a film on the lenses that is difficult to remove, yes I am talking about the used ones.
I was told by an optician to clean the plastic lenses with a soft cotton cloth only, and never use paper towels. Always make sure to wet the lenses before wiping them dry with a cotton cloth.
I don't think that the used Bounce dryer sheets are 100% cotton fabric, and they might scratch your lenses.
