Frozen Breaded Mushrooms

I used to be able to buy frozen OreIda mushrooms that I could fry or bake and serve with ranch dressing. Any frozen mushroom would do, I don't like the fresh picked ones. If the stores don't sell them is there someway to come up with my old frozen mushrooms? I saw them fresh in the vegetables and don't know if those breaded are the same as the old OreIda frozen ones. And if they do taste the same, what recipe do you use to fix them? I am so stumped and would appreciate any help. I recently got to enjoy some fried mushrooms at a Dairy Queen when we were traveling in Missouri. Sure do miss eating them. Any ideas will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Lori MacDonald from AR

Homemade Ice Cream Advice

I have only tasted and loved, but never have made, homemade ice cream in a maker before. Does anyone know how to prevent that quick-melting drawback homemade ice cream has? Also, I want to use organic ingredients. Does anyone see any drawback to that? I know it can be frozen quickly in the fridge, but I remember it melting before it got to my bowl. What did my family do wrong so I might improve upon it? Any guaranteed recipes and techniques? God bless all ice cream lovers!

Chocolate Bag Basket

Buy small brown paper bags and paint them with vegetable oil until the paper is translucent. Turn them upside down to drain out any excess oil. Pour tempered chocolate inside the bag and turn and tip the bag until all sides are covered. Turn the bag upside down to pour out excess chocolate. Move the bag to parchment paper covered tray and place them on the tray upside down. Put the tray in refrigerator to chill.

When firm, "carefully" peel off the paper. You may have to coat the inside of the bags a second time to get a thick enough coating of chocolate. This is a bit tricky, so you may have to experiment for best results.

Easy and Inexpensive Pizza Casserole

This was always my Mom's favorite quick supper. She was a teacher who often didn't have alot of time after school to plan a meal for the five of us. We all loved it! It is a quick and easy supper for 4-5 people. It requires only 4 ingredients and they are staples that almost everyone always has on hand. It "seasons" itself and really does taste like pizza. Serve with a tossed salad for a healthy full meal!
