I am looking for a recipe for Macaroni salad. Nothing fancy. Is it better to use miracle whip, or mayonnaise?
My husband signed me up for cold macaroni salad for his work's Thanksgiving luncheon. I make very boring cold macaroni salad - so it hasn't been made by me in years.
Cook macaroni with 2 tsp. salt until soft, then rinse in cold water. Drain well. When cooled, add rest of ingredients. Does not get watery.
Combine macaroni, celery, and eggs in a bowl. Mix together sugar, vinegar, celery seed, Pet milk, and mayonnaise in a small bowl.
Mix together and refrigerate.
