My daughter spilled wax from a bug repellent candle over a large portion of the deck. The wax is into the wood. Does anyone have a solution to remove the wax? Thanks,

Laurie

if possible, simply unscrew deck boards, flip over and re attach-worked for my stairs.

You can remove the wax with mineral spirits. Saturate a rage with mineral spirits and let it sit there until it soaks up the wax, don't let it dry out and DON'T do it in the heat of the day or direct sunlight.

Using Viva Paper toweling to cover the area where the wax is, place a warm iron over it to melt the wax which will collect in the paper toweling. Do it as often as you need to to get out as much as possible. Good luck.
