Check with your insurance company. State Farms in US usually has free calendars with animals, parks, rivers etc setting out for free. I go in early January to pay my bill and get one. This year the animal ones went fast and one of the office girls knows I come in and those are my fav so she saved it back for me! Good luck.

I have been unemployed for over a year and wanted to save money on calendars this year. I found page templates and printed out 2010 pages and glued them to my old calendars and reused them. I did two of them this way and they look great. You can match the ink color to the pictures.

I get free calendars from the local drug stores. Also $tree had them before Christmas and I bought a pretty one there with flowers on it.

I had a Birds and Bloom calendar from last year, I loved the pictures so this year I used my computer and printed out each month and taped it over every month. I also personalized each month with all anniversaries and birthdays, I usually had 3 free calendars each year but I guess with the cut backs I didn't receive any this year, but love my recycled calendar. There are many companies that will send them to your mailbox but unfortunately all I checked were to USA or Canada only.

There are tons of free ones you print on your computer available. Some are basic calendar grids and some you can insert your own photos from your computer.

My insurance company always gives them out as well as our financial consultants. I have even seen them at libraries or at banks for free.

How about your local businesses? We never pay for calendars in our town.

Many businesses give them away free. For $1 you can get them at the various dollar stores.
