Can we nail hardwood over vinyl that has been partially removed? My husband tore up the old parquet floor, which had been glued to the old linoleum (circa 1982), which was glued to the plywood subfloor. He is wondering if he must remove all of the old linoleum. Some places he is down to plywood, some not.
