Small quantities are good for your pets health, but don't over do it. I have a cat food cook book and almost every recipe has 1 or 2 tablespoons of ground liver in it. It just can't be the main part of your cat's diet.
Neither male nor female cats should eat a diet heavy in liver or other organ meats. Too much can cause a fatal kidney disease. I know, because it caused the death of a beloved cat of ours and our vet attributed it directly to the liver we were feeding him. And, if you are feeding your cat dry food, make sure the ash content does not exceed 5.5%. If it is not listed on the box or bag, do not feed it to your pet. It will also contribute to kidney failure.
