Herb Buttered Potatoes and Peas

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. new potatoes
  • 4 cups boiling salted water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. marjoram leaves
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme leaves
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 bay leaf
  • 1 package frozen peas, thawed

Directions

Cook potatoes in boiling salted water until almost tender; drain. Add butter, salt, and seasonings. Cover; cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally for 5 to 10 minutes. Stir in peas; heat 5 minutes more.
