To prevent wasting candles, simply "HUG" your candle each time before you blow it out. Cup both hands around the top of the candle and fold the softened wax toward the wick area. Be careful not to drown the wick in the melted wax. Before lighting the candle again, pinch off the burnt wick so only about a 1/4 inch of the wick remains. At the end of the candle's life, there will be NO waste whatsoever.

By Cindy from Vero Beach Florida

Editor's Note: This works especially well with the big pillar candles, 3-6 inches in diameter.
