The liquor companies have lots of money for free distribution as advertising. So try to find out who the distributors or their representatives are. When you have your big public event, pitch it to them as part of their target audience or as a charity event to get them to provide you with free liquor. I have done this several times and gotten Bailey's Irish Cream and so on. Vodkas are big now, so you could have martinis. Also try the wine distributors.
