Escalloped Pineapple

Cream together until light and fluffy:

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cups butter or margarine
  • 3 eggs

Add:

  • 1 large can crushed pineapple (or 2 cans, if desired)
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 4 cups fresh bread crumbs or cubes

Directions

Bake in a well-buttered casserole dish for 1 hour at 325 degrees F. It is best baked in a larger, flat pan. Good with ham or hamballs.

THIS IS WONDERFUL. I MAKE IT FOR EASTER AS A SIDE DISH AND IT GOES QUICKLY. MY KIDS LOVE IT. IT GOES GREAT WITH POULTRY AND HAM, BUT I'M GUESSING THAT IT WOULD BE GOOD WITH JUST ABOUT ANYTHING. I BET IT WOULD BE GOOD BY ITSELF AS A DESSERT WITH SOME WHIPPED CREAM.
