BCT Crescents

I had forgotten to pick up bread on my way home, and had only a couple of refrigerated crescent dinner rolls to serve my new thoughts of what to make for a quick lunch. This was the result.

Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 1/2 of an 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese. (4 ounces)
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red peppers (if desired)
  • 4 slices bacon, crisply cooked, drained and chopped

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Separate dough into 8 triangles; spread with cream cheese. Top evenly with remaining ingredients. Roll up, starting at the shortest side of each triangle. Place point-sides down on baking sheet. Bake 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm.

Makes 8 servings.

Note: Could use the Chive and Onion Cream Cheese in place of regular cream cheese, if desired.
