Scuffs and Scratches on Black Interior Door Panels

I have a 2006 Honda Civic SI, with black plastic door sills on the inside. They have shoe scuffs and scratches along the bottom from where people scrape them when exiting. How do I get these scuffs out?

Why don't you try black paste-type shoe polish?
