Steak Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. round steak (or 6 minute steaks)
  • 1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup diced celery
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms
  • 2 Tbsp. shortening
  • 1 envelope onion soup mix
  • 1/2 cup ketchup

Directions

Pound meat thin. Combine celery and mushrooms. Place 2 Tbsp. of mixture into center of meat, roll and faster with toothpick. Brown roll in shortening, combine onion soup, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and water and pour in skillet. Simmer, covered, for 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
