I have a large shopping tote bag which has a printed promotional logo at the front. How can I remove it so that I will be able to decorate the bag with an iron-on transfer?
Maybe you could rip the seams out and then resew it inside out. Another way may be to add a large pocket over the logo, and have your transfer on that pocket. An outside pocket is always nice to have on a tote bag anyway.

The bag is made of canvas and unfortunately the logo is not a small one but is printed entirely on the front of the bag and in dark blue ink!! I cannot turn it inside out either as the seams show so much!!
Thanks to you all!!

Is this bag plastic or cloth?

Can the bag be turned inside out? That worked for me with a fabric bag. Good luck

Instead of trying to remove it, why not iron the transfer onto a piece of solid coordinating fabric and sew the fabric over the logo.

I don't think there is any way to remove a printed promotional logo without ruining the tote bag.
Is there a way for you to sew some decorative material across the printed logo, just a suggestion.
