4 Layer Delight

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 cup Cool Whip
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 small pkg. instant pudding (chocolate, lemon, pistachio, or butterscotch - your choice)
  • 3 cups milk
  • 8 oz. Cool Whip
  • Topping (your choice again - coconut, chopped nuts, candy, etc.)

Directions

Crust:

Blend flour, melted margarine, and nuts. Pat into 9x13 inch Pyrex pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees F. Remove and cool.

Second Layer:

Cream powdered sugar and cream cheese. Fold in Cool Whip and spread on cooled crust.

Third Layer:

Pour milk into pudding mix and beat until thick. Spread on cheese layer.

Fourth Layer:

Cover with remaining Cool Whip and sprinkle with desired topping.
