Never Fail Banana Bread

It really is a Never Fail Banana Bread!


  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup banana
  • 2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cups chopped nuts
  • Ad
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour milk with 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla


Beat margarine and sugar. Add remaining ingredients. To sour milk, add 1 Tbsp. lemon juice to milk.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour in 1 loaf pan or 2 small loaf pans about 45 minutes.

Check for doneness with toothpick, comes out clean if done.
