We plan an all day trip to Reading, PA to shop at the Vanity Fair Outlets on a weekday or a Saturday. It is a beautiful scenic trip. We make a list of all the clothing, shoes, sneakers, and school needs, etc. and spend most of the day there. We'll eat there and shop. It is a fairly large outlet mall.

Then we set our navigator to go to ShadyMaple Smorgasborg in East Earl, PA to have a divine supper. Bring a camera, the view is gorgeous!

Then it is back on the road to home.

Love the outlet malls!! We live in Los Angeles and last yr I drove about 30 min down the hill to Camrillo to the outlet mall their. I have three children only two in school. I bought school clothing for two kids and two pairs of shoes for $150.00.

Check on their websites for additional coupons before you go a lot of the outlet malls have coupons on their websites

Hi, I live about 5 minutes away from the Shady Maple. Along with heading up to Reading once in a while, we also go to the outlet malls in Lancaster along route 30. Rockvale and Tanger Outlets, I'll add links at the end of this so folks can see the store lists. They are only a few minutes from each other and have a nice selection of stores...and Dutch Wonderland is right across the street so Hubby can take the little ones there for the day while the big kids get to shop with Mom!
