I just visited the Family Fun Zone at the Hanes website and they have all sorts of great ideas for making costumes out of T-Shirts. I never thought of using T-shirts like this, but the costumes are adorable. My favorite is the "Gypsy" because its so colorful. Hanes gives complete easy to follow instructions on how to make all the different costumes as well.

Go to http://www.hanes.com/Hanes/Departments/Kids-Hanes.aspx and click on the"Family Fun Zone" in the lower right corner of the page. I think this is a terrific way to recycle some old adult and/or youth T-shirts you may have at home while creating a costume that's sure to be a kid-pleaser!

I didn't make this. I purchased it online to support the North Shore Animal Shelter. It came quickly in the mail and my little JRT looks so cute in it! It's a little T-shirt that says McCanine :-)
