Double Charged at WalMart? |
Apparently Wal-Mart double-charged a bunch of customers who shopped there and payed with visa/MC on 3/31/2004. The charges should have been reversed by now, but anyone who shops at Wal-Mart should double check their bill.

RE: Double Charged at WalMart?
Also, Walmart is supposed to give you your item for free if they charge you the wrong posted price. Right after CHristmas my daughter was sent $5 from my aunt and she went to Walmart and picked out this $20 makeup kit that had been marked down to like $4.50. It rang up at like $18, probably the first marked down price, and I caught it and told the cashier it had a red sticker for $4.50. She said, you know what that means don't you? And I said, "No" and she said, "You only have to pay the taxes on it". And my daughter handed her $1 and some change for the tax. She explained that if they don't catch it you are supposed to get it for free. Most won't tell you that and you have to point it out to them.
