Spray some men's shaving foam into your stainless steel sink and spread it around with your hand. Let it set for about 5 minutes and then wipe it up with newspaper. Your sink will be shiny as new.

Would this work for stainless steel appliances? I have a convection oven that I can't seem to get back to it original look!

I also use shaving cream to clean stains in my carpet. Put some on spot scrub with an old toothbrush. Stains gone. Gary Dominicus
