Large Flat Desk Calendars For Craft Projects

When companies offer various type calendars this time of year, take one and use as a work pad for craft projects. Tear off the sheet when you've finished a messy project and toss in the trash.

I use regular calender pages to make placemats. Cover the picture with clear contact. Cover the back with contact in a color or print. The other style uses christmas cards cut in circles. Cut circles using the pretty scene on the cards. cut an oval of contact and arrange the cards on it.
Leave a bit from the edge and cover it with clear. Smooth it out and then cut around the edge. Just a bit outside the card so it seals the edge. Great gifts for the holidays or to use yourself. I like these as when you are tired of them and want something different you can make more.
