Consider wearing a vintage family wedding dress. They often were of very good material and had trains that could be used for alterations. Or just wear the veil with a new dress. I wore a version of my grandmother's wedding dress from pre-WWI. The is no comparison in the workmanship and there is so much sentiment involved.
