I am hosting the graduation party at our church this year again. I have had many themes and just simply ran out of ideas. I need some help.

What about tables with table cloths in the school colours if possible. Often the dollar stores have something like that. then some composition books for each student if you have a small gathering or have the students buy one (again, dollar stores, or some even cost less than that). Pass the comp books around like we did with our annuals (year books) and have people write favourite memories, or just a few words of well wishes, or each one could put where they see themselves in 10 years. That last one could be taken seriously, or make it fun, and see who has the wackiest predictions.

We always do a simple party where each graduate has a large round table to decorate with their school momentos, pictures, guestbook, etc. We cover each table with cloth and skirt so they all match. Then we have several sheet cakes (very large church) with punch and graduation napkins and table decorations.

Our church has a seniors night and the church presents each of them with a personalized Bible. If there's one who sings, or speak or read a poem, etc. we ask their participation. Then we have finger foods and a short celebration. Each of them is asked to bring pictures, awards and caps and diploma and we have a table with all their personal momentos they wish to share. Most of them have already had their own parties but its just our simple way of honoring our graduates.I have and I would be willing to send you lots of little posters and decorations left over from my daughter's graduation party last year. I am registered with Thrifty fun so I assume you can log on to e-mail me with an address to send it to. I 'd be happy to share them.
