I wash and dry fresh lemons. Cut them into wedges and deseed them. Toss them into a freezer proof bag or container. Whenever I need a lemon in my drink, I add the frozen wedges. No need to thaw, use them frozen. If you need lemon for cooking/baking, take the wedges out of freezer and let thaw a bit.

In this very trying economy, there are a lot of consumers looking for bargains on their groceries. There are many salvage grocery stores opening to satisfy these needs. Along with the good comes the bad. Helping Hands Grocery dba Smart Buy Grocery, owner Joseph Morello. He claims that he is a non-profit organization that exists to help the consumer, but in reality he is only helping his own pocket. Don't buy groceries or loads from him. You'll be sorry!

Great tip! I never knew you could freeze them like that. When I get a bag of lemons, some of them always go bad. Thanks again!

That's a great idea! I just threw away a few leftover lemon wedges because they went bad and went to the store to get more. Going to put them in the freezer now.

Thanks, what a great tip. I always end up throwing away unused portions of lemons or putting them down the garbage disposal.

I had a "DUH" moment with this. Why have I never thought of this myself? Thanks for this handy tip. I am always throwing out parts of lemons that I don't finish.

Thanks for the excellent tip. I have a lemon tree and I often squeeze the juice and freeze it in ice cube trays then transfer the frozen cubes to a freezer bag, but this is MUCH easier!
