Witch Fingers

These are fun to serve at a Halloween party.

Ingredients

  • 2 bags large pretzel rods
  • 12 oz. white chocolate chips
  • Sliced Almonds (find the largest whole slices you can, these are the fingernails)

Directions

Lay sheets of waxed paper on cookie sheets. In a heavy, tall glass tumbler, melt the white chocolate chips in the microwave 30 seconds at a time, stirring with a chop stick till melted. When dipping consistency, dip one end of the pretzel rod into the glass of melted chocolate and turn until you have an even coat about half way up the rod. Tap off excess. Apply one almond slice to soft chocolate on end of rod to resemble a fingernail. Lay on waxed paper to cool and harden. You can refrigerate for an hour to speed this process. Store in gallon sized zip lock bags. This works well with chocolate chips too and they both taste great!

Source: I think I saw them in a magazine years ago but do not remember which one.
