Doubling a Congealed (Jello) Salad

When preparing a congealed salad recipe (using jello or gelatin), all ingredients can be doubled except: Salt, Vinegar & Lemon Juice. For these use only 1 1/2 times the given amount, but no more, or your salad won't congeal.
