  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
  • Chicken pieces (breasts, thighs, cut up chicken)

Place chicken pieces in a greased casserole or roaster.  Mix first four ingredients together and pour over chicken.  Bake covered at 350F for 1 hour.

Tastes great with pork chops and meat balls too.  If you like things spicy substitute chile sauce for ketchup.

Or you can try 1 package chicken breasts, 1 can of pineapple slices with juice and about 2 teaspoons of brown sugar. Bake uncovered at 350 for about an hour or until no longer pink inside. ***Or try 1 package chicken breasts basted with a mixture of equal parts of butter/margarine and lemon juice and about three tablespoons of parsley. Cook on the grill for a carmalized outside, tender and juicy inside chicken that goes with any sidedish - is great on salad and delicious in pasta dishes.
