My daughter's combat medic unit recently deployed to AFGH and has 300 soldiers in her unit. They are building from ground up and there are no stores nearby. They need help. They will be in tents for the year and there are 20+ soldiers per tent and ONE LIGHT. So booklights are high on the list along with hygiene items. I will keep up with this forum and check out all of the suggestions. I am also AZ State Rep for ASA, America Supporting Americans. ASA connects thousands of units wth sponsors and cities. so if you would like to know how to get involved visit www.asa-usa.org. I also have started a Cause on FACEBOOK and would love for you to post your stories.. http://apps.facebook.com/causes/42743?m=e49ddc0e&recruiter_id=10987044

We are an organization that donates care packages to troops over seas. Our board of directors have at least one family member or friend over seas. I am a veteran myself and know how nice it is to receive packages. If you are interested in signing up a soldier, please visit us at www.pieceofhome.org

You can check out http://www.anysoldier.com. It has links to anymarine, anyairman, and anysailor, also, and connect civilians on the site with unit representatives so we're given someplace specific to send care packages to. It works really well!!

Hello, Our organization, Operation MoM, is hosting our 2nd annual golf tournament to raise money for the troops. We are looking for companies or individuals who would like to sponsor a hole, donate items for goody bags and raffle prizes or pay to play. We look forward to your reponse and appreciate any consideration.
