Breakfast Eggnog

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar or honey
  • 3/4 cup cold milk
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • dash salt
  • dash nutmeg

Directions:

Combine egg with sugar and salt. Add milk and vanilla. Serve cold in tall glasses and sprinkle with nutmeg. For fluffy eggnog, separate egg, beat yolk as above, then fold in stiffly beaten egg white. Serves 1.

How safe is it to have a drink made with a raw egg? This could be a serious health concern with the elderly, young children, and those who have serious immune problems. I would think twice about this recipe, sorry.
