Gail's Green Bean Casserole

Ingredients:
  • 1 small green pepper, chopped (optional)
  • 1 French style green beans, drained
  • 1 small can of water chestnuts, drained
  • 1 can shoe peg corn, drained
  • 1 can cream soup: celery or mushroom
  • 1/2 cup grated cheese (American or cheddar)
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • Ritz crackers, crushed
  • 1/2 cup melted margarine
  • 1 pkg. slivered almonds

Directions:

Mix all together except crackers, oleo and nuts. Pour in 9" x 13" baking dish. Mix topping items and sprinkle on top. Bake at 350 degrees until it bubbles (about 45 minutes).
