Matching Bridesmaids Shoes |
|
|
My sister recently got married and was having a hard time finding shoes to match the bridesmaid's dresses. The solution? She purchased inexpensive satin-type shoes and colored them with a highlighter until the appropriate color was achieved. The more ink used, the darker the color. I have passed this tip on to others who have acheived similar success!

RE: Matching Bridesmaids Shoes
My bridesmaid dresses were chocolate brown and cocktail length, so I just asked them to wear a high heeled black sandal and left it at that. Even though their feet were very visible, no one remarked that they had on different styles of shoes or felt that the black and brown clashed. After all, the tuxes were black, too!

Remember this tip all thru your life. I have a number of colored sharpies that have saved many an outfit! Bleach marks disappear with a "coloring in", those tuff to get out sauce stains too!

Oh, dear - of course I would never demand matching anything -because I would like everyone to be able to wear those shoes/dresses AGAIN!

My new sister in law was having the same problem with finding shoes to match our dresses. She picked out clear shoes.
