Same Problem With New Fuel Pump?

I tested the old fuel pump on my Toro Wheelhorse 314 garden tractor by disconnecting the line from the fuel pump to the carburetor. No fuel was coming out. I thought the fuel pump isn't pumping fuel; it must be bad. I replaced it with a new fuel pump, but now I have the same issue. No fuel is being pumped. I checked and replaced the fuel line from the gas tank and gas is pouring out to the fuel pump.

Check your wiring on the pump. There should be a wire or two that attaches to the pump. These wires go to the wiring harness on the side of your mower. At times they will crack and break. If this is the case you'll need to change it out. You can also test this with a volt meter to find out which wire is bad and replace it.
