Take 4 squares of chocolate, melt 2 minutes. Stir for 2 minutes more or until melted.

Add 3 - 4 drops of peppermint. Can add more to the next batch if you want a stronger taste of peppermint.

Using fork, drop in chocolate, turn over and dip the other side in. Pick up with fork, drain just a little.

Dry on waxed paper. Makes about 50 cookies in about 30 minutes total.

You can double dip them for extra chocolate after it hardens the first time.

For peanut butter lovers:

My idea for the ultimate chocolate peanut cookie.

Apply peanut butter between crackers. Dip in chocolate..

Not only do you have the chocolate/peanut taste but the peppermint gives it a little zing.

The original recipe : Awesome for kids parties. My family went nuts over it at Christmas. Tastes just like Girl Scout Cookies. No kidding !!! I guarantee you won't buy Mint Girl Scout Cookies again.
