No Fail Scones

The easiest Scone recipe on this earth and they are NO FAIL. Now sit back and just watch 'em rise!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups self raising flour
  • Advertisement

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt per each cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil, per cup flour
  • 3/4 to 1 cup milk

Directions

Mix to good dough, not sticky, so add milk slowly after 3/4 cup added. Heat your oven as hot as it will go. Put scones in oven and turn back to 450 degrees F and bake for 12 1/2 to 13 minutes only.

You also can add before the milk, 1 small onion, 250 gms. bacon pieces and parsley, all cut up small; or 1 can creamed corn or even your favourite can of soup. I enjoy mushroom soup (410g can).

Now, stand back and watch them go. I promise they will love them dripping with your favorite margarine or butter.

You don't give a yield. I'm assuming this makes one round of dough, and number of servings depend on number I cut it into?
I'm definitely making these!
